My Impressions from EU Startups Summit

EU Startups Summit

I was attending the EU Startups summit in Barcelona on May 2 and 3. The event turned out quite interesting. There was a main stage and a workshops stage. Both were going in parallel so it was a tough choice which events to attend. Somehow I found the workshops events more interesting.

On the first day, there was an interesting keynote from Beth Susanne about pitching a startup. I really enjoyed it.

The second day was even more interesting, especially with Andreas Spechtler from Silicon Castles. Main focus was sales, sales and sales. Let me put this straight, the guy knows what he’s talking about. I’d say I learned from his keynote more than from four years is business school.

A keynote by Amrit Dhir of Google was simply amazing. Amrit is amazing and his manner of delivery was brilliant. Would you expect anything less from Google? No.

To sum up, the EU Startups event has fully justified my expectations. I think Thomas Ohr, the main organizer behind the event has done an amazing job. Without any exaggerations, the event was a pure success.
